Trusted sources claim that Microsoft will buy SwiftKey for $250 million.

According to Financial Times, Microsoft has agreed to buy the company behind the popular virtual keyboard SwiftKey for $250 million. Microsoft has recently invested greatly on Android but according to Financial Times, it’s the SwiftKey’s AI technology that interests Microsoft.

As Windows Phone seems to be almost dead, Microsoft keeps investing on smartphones. They have made Office apps available for free on Android and iOS and made deals with companies like Samsung and Cyanogen to preinstall more Microsoft apps on the new phones.
