Nokia Android Phone Leaks

Nokia has previously confirmed that they are returning to the smartphone market and now we’ve got the first leaks of the Nokia Android phone.

The leaked pictures reveal minimalistic design and very thin body. The phone looks a lot like an iPhone except the camera placement as the shooter is in the center line of the back of the phone instead of being more in the corner like on an iPhone. The renders don’t reveal any SIM-tray so the back of the device might pop off like in some Lumia phones.

Sadly the specifications are not that great. Nokia is obviously counting on software as the C1 is going to have a 5″ 720p display, Intel CPU, 2GB of RAM and cameras of 8 and 5 megapixels. As said, the Nokia C1 will run Android. The Nokia N1 tablet did run a slightly skinned version of AOSP so the C1 might do the same and miss out on the Google Play Store and other Google services.

The Nokia brand was sold to Microsoft in 2013 and the Finnish company can’t return to the smartphone market before the second half of 2016.
