Google has just announced that the Android Wear app is now available for iOS. IPhone users are no longer stuck with a square display at their wrists.
At the moment the only officially compatible Android Wear watch is the LG Watch Urbane but some have already got a Moto 360 working with an iPhone. The iPhone needs to be 5 or newer and run iOS 8.2 or newer.
Android Wear brings some new features that Apple Watch does not have like “OK Google” voice commands and a circular display. Mostly it’s still the same, notifications and lots of fitness applications at your wrist with poor battery life.
